The neoclassical palace could have been built by Andrea Tirali. Friedrich Nietzsche lived in the southern palace, palazzo Berlendis. A branch of the Pesaro family acquired the building in the early 20th century and subdivided it into smaller apartments. Interior decoration, especially the stairway gate in the portego, is well conserved. Lately the façade was restored. Palazzo Merati, bordering on the north side, is also private property.
