The composition of the central serliana with colossal pilasters is evocative of Michele Sanmicheli's Palazzo Grimani a San Luca, but is much more sober. As a whole, the palace is based upon the classical tripartite scheme of venetian palaces. Interior decroration is partially conserved.
The Collezione Vittorio Cini, a gallery with focus on tuscan paintings - Piero della Francesca and Botticelli - is housed in the palace.
