Description:
Doge Alvise Mocenigo I acquired a palace with a garden on the Giudecca in the late 16th century. The palace, much altered in the 19th century, resembles to the villa-type buildings which once were typical for the Giudecca island. It was restored presumably in the 1980's. Interior additional floors in the piano nobile were removed and the ground floor was reconstructed in large parts.
