Below the elaborated cornice in transition style between latest gothic and early lombardian renaissance, characteristic polychrome plasters are preserved, but not in an excellent state. The façade of Palazzo Contarini Fasan was studied by the "Bauforschung" around Prof. Manfred Schuller during a recent restoration campaign.
