Description:

After the destruction of the famous palazzo Erizzo Morosini dal Giardin, designed by Baldassarre Longhena, this palace became main residence of the Morosini family. The palace has a bossed façade on the Campo San Stefano and is constructed around two courtyards. Indeed, the palace is much larger than the land façade makes one think. Marco Moro depicted the water façade in one of his lithographies. A somptuous collection of art was sold after the death of the last Morosini, Lauredana Morosini Gatterburg and can be seen partially in the Museo Correr.
Lately restored by the Assicurazioni Generali.
